The USAFL would like to show their support to those in the U.S. with family or friends who have been affected by this tragedy. Wednesday morning the Brisbane River broke it's banks flooding a number of suburbs entirely. Townships west of Brisbane were devastated by flash flooding a day earlier with the small community of Grantham literally being washed away by a wall of water.

Movember 2010 Results!

Andy Vanica

The USAFL joined in the Movember cause by growing mustaches and raising over $10,000 during the month formally called November. Worldwide, Movember raised nearly $63.5 million US dollars that will go towards cancer research. A big thank-you and congratulations to Andy Vanica of the Denver Bulldogs and USAFL Vice-President West, for not only getting behind this great cause from Day 1 and driving it, but for doing such an amazing job, individually raising more than $1,500 making him the highest sponsored USAFL Mo' Bro for 2010! Well done Andy on such a tremendous effort! Also congratulations to Joshua Anfinson of the Seattle Grizzlies on a VERY close second place.
