Movember 2010 Results!

Andy Vanica

The USAFL joined in the Movember cause by growing mustaches and raising over $10,000 during the month formally called November. Worldwide, Movember raised nearly $63.5 million US dollars that will go towards cancer research. A big thank-you and congratulations to Andy Vanica of the Denver Bulldogs and USAFL Vice-President West, for not only getting behind this great cause from Day 1 and driving it, but for doing such an amazing job, individually raising more than $1,500 making him the highest sponsored USAFL Mo' Bro for 2010! Well done Andy on such a tremendous effort! Also congratulations to Joshua Anfinson of the Seattle Grizzlies on a VERY close second place.

The Seattle Grizzlies took out the USAFL Mo' Team for 2010 with the highest donation tally, totaling more than $3,400! Congratulations guys, that is an outstanding effort! They were followed closely by the Denver Bulldogs on just over $2,700 and the Boston Demons on $2,200.

Andy has won himself an AFL Supporters pack for the team of his choice (guernsey, shorts, socks, scarf, beanie and a football) and the Seattle Grizzlies have scored themselves 5 Match and 5 Attack footballs all courtesy of the league's sponsor, Burley-Sekem. The USAFL Network had a total of 11 teams and 87 participants, more than half of those participants raising in excess of $100 each.
