Be a Devil - North Texas Joins USAFL Lineup

The saying goes that everything is bigger in Texas.  And that is true in every sense of the word.

It’s the biggest state in the continental US.  Heck, it was its own country at one time.  It has its own culture and its own identity.  And when they embrace something, they do it wholeheartedly.

The Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and greater northern Texas embody this.  Nearly two centuries after its foundation, it continues to be one of the fastest growing areas in the country.  And… they love their football.

Central Regionals Retrospective

The COVID-19 crisis, much like the grey colored piece in Settlers of Catan, hath doth absconded with the 2020 USAFL Regional Tournament Series.  Under normal circumstances, we would all have our bags packed en route for flights to the Dallas Metroplex for the first of three stops on what has become the Great American Aussie Rules Roadshow.

Alas, it’s not to be.

But we are slowly moving towards returning to play, with the hopes that we will all get to have our great big family reunion in Ontario, California, this October.

Centennial Tigers Roar Onto Scene as USAFL's 46th Team

Sara Edwards Rohner has taken on a lot of challenges in her athletic life. The former USA rugby player came to Aussie Rules and helped be a part of the Denver Lady Bulldogs’ juggernaut at the beginning of this decade. She has represented her country with the USA Freedom, racking up caps as a dependable on-and-off field leader. Now, she takes on a new challenge: part of the founding group of the Centennial Tigers, the USAFL’s 46th member club.
