Nashville Seek a New Head Coach

The Nashville Kangaroos Board has chosen to take a new direction with coaching for the the mens football team and Marty Thompson will no longer be filling that role. The Club is launching a search for a new head coach. If you know of anyone who might be willing and able to fill the role, please have them contact Jeff Persson at president@nashvillekangaroos.org. In addition, with our Football Manager role also vacant, please direct any enquiries about the 2011 schedule to Luke Nemeth at luke@nashvillekangaroos.org.

During Marty's tenure, the Kangaroos were 27-19, 9-5 in the MAAFL, had four winning seasons and one MAAFL championship. Marty was also responsible for starting the player exchange program which brought Ben Vaatstra and Anthony Verdouw to the club in 2010. We wish Marty the best of successes in his future endeavors and hope he remains a part of our club.
