Jun 4, 2019 USAFL Announces Partnership With OFX Times are changing. Choose a partner who can keep up. Using a bank to transfer money overseas may seem like your easiest option, but it can be an expensive one. Banks publish a daily exchange rate for currencies even though the market exchange rate moves by the second. Therefore, banks typically build in a margin of up to 5% on the daily exchange rate, which they pass on to you (on top of hefty transactions fees). Read more » |

May 30, 2019 Whats on Tap - 1 June 2019 Since the end of March, that has been a few USAFL matches here and there, with teams either shaking off the winter cold or preparing for the long seasonal journey with training matches, metro games, and the odd AFLX carnival. This weekend, however, things kick into high gear. Nine events across the USA -- including two up in Maple Leaf Land -- punctuate this weekend's Aussie Rules activities. May 15, 2019 Six Americans Lead Charge Towards AFLW It’s been a meteoric rise for women’s Aussie Rules football over the past five years. The most visible aspect has been the birth of AFL Women’s in 2017 and its rapid growth. From eight teams in its inception year of 2017, the league is poised to go up to fourteen clubs next year, and it will only be a matter of time before all eighteen AFL member clubs are represented. Indeed, a professional league now exists, state leagues in Australia are growing, and hundreds – if not more – of grass roots programs have sprung up and are already weaving themselves into the fabric of the sport’s community. It is an adequate metaphor for the teams based in this area, as they have been a cut above the rest of the field over the last decade. May 2, 2019 Season Preview Part V - Mens West Region South One part of the USAFL equation that has remained constant has been the prowess of the west coast teams. Each year, they have several teams vying for titles in the men’s division. In fact, since 2011, there have been at least two teams from the West in a Grand Final at Nationals.
