USA Revolution and Development Rosters Announced

Representing 19 teams from coast to coast, the USA Revolution and Development squads rosters have been announced for the 2015 49th Parallel Cup matches against Canada.

The rosters, selected by USA Revolution head coach Tom Ellis, assistant coach Dan Sarbacker, and the rest of their staff, are a mixture of veterans at the club and national level, as well as new American footballers who are the next generation of the sport's future in this country.  

Introducing the USA Revolution Coaching Staff

I am pleased to announce the new coaching staff for the USA National Australian Rules Football Team, The American Revolution. 

This coaching staff includes 5 past Revolution players.   I am excited to have them on board to help grow this great sport in the USA.  I look forward to having them work with the next generation of American players to go where we have never gone before. 

Ft Lauderdale to Host 2015 49th Parallel Cup Matches

A new road ahead of a new International Cup lies in waiting.  And it begins in sunny Florida with an all too familiar rivalry.

The 2015 edition of the 49th Parallel Cup, featuring a series of international test matches between the USA and Canada, will be held July 31st and August 1st at beautiful Central Broward Regional Park Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

I want to thank all of the USAFL for the honor of leading the USA National Australian Rules Football team, the American Revolution. 

Denver's Ellis Takes the Reigns of USA Revolution

He's been a champion and an ambassador at the national level.  Now, Tom Ellis will lead his nation on the road to International Cup 2017.

The USAFL is pleased to announce that Ellis has been named the new coach of the USA Revolution, the US Men’s National team.  He brings with him a great deal of experience as a player for club and country, as well as a Level 1 certified coach.

2015 Revolution Training Camp

Revolution 2015 Training Camp and Tryouts, June 6 and 7, Nashville, TN

The US Men's Australian Football National Team, the Revolution, will host their annual training camp in Nashville, TN on June 6 and 7.  The Revos are searching to expand the talent pool and begin to fill the roster for the 49th Parallel Cup match against Canada in August.  We are looking to identify the best talent in the country, from any club in the USAFL. 

USA Revolution Seeks Head Coach

The USAFL is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Coach of the US Revolution.

Those interested in coaching the US Men's national team need to be living in the United States and be able to provide work history and visa status if applicable. In addition, applicants should have attained level 2 coaching accreditation or have the desire to do so. This is a volunteer position and applicants should prepare a coaching resume, 3 references, as well as their vision for the growth and success of the Revolution.

Matt Bishop Resigns as Revolution Head Coach

Matt Bishop has resigned from his role as the Revolution Head Coach. The USAFL would like to thank Matt for his services over the last six years, where he maintained a 10-4 win/loss record, taking the Revolution to a 4th place finish at the 2011 International Cup and 8th at the 2014 International Cup.

Matt contributed many significant innovations to the program, including Google Hangouts, Coach’s Eye, video review, the creation of the Leadership group, the Culture and Behaviors program, the use of statistics and assistant coaches and the creation of the Development Squad.
