USAFL Mourns the Passing of Houston Lonestars Player

The greater USAFL community is mourning the passing of Houston Lonestars player Craig Ruggles, who tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, November 3, aged 29.

David Bryant, VP of the Lonestars says, “Craig Ruggles was a committed member and great friend within the Houston Lonetsars football community. He will be forever remembered for his energy and passion for the game he adopted 5 years ago when he joined the Lonestars. Craig was one of the early players at the club and through his commitment and positive outlook helped develop a strong culture at the club. He will be sorely missed both on and off the field but his legacy will live forever with the Houston Lonestars.”

However, after the first five minutes the Bulldogs lifted and started to get on top. The midfield started to find a bit more of the ball and a bit more space to allow quicker movement of the ball. Despite having countless inside 50m entries we were unable to apply scoreboard pressure.
