2005 International Cup Draw & Schedule

The 2005 Australian Football International Cup Draw & Schedule…
The Australian Football League has confirmed the draw for the 2005 Australian Football International Cup. The grounds and timetable for matches has also been released. As reported earlier, the grand final is to be played at the MCG, and the series also includes a round of matches at a country venue, Wangaratta, about 235 km northeast of Melbourne, Australia. Hopefully with such a unique event and some local promotion, a big crowd will turn out for the regional matches.

Nationals Silent Auction Update

James climbs the Sydney Harbour Bridge....

June 16

The wind whistled past my head as I stared through the night at the breathtaking view before me. There was the Opera House, bathed in golden light. Farther to the right stood the Centrepoint Tower, the Allianz building and the rest of the Sydney skyline. In the darkness I shifted my view to the water below me. A ferry was passing under the bridge. Standing 440 feet above the ferry at the top of the arch of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it looked to me like a model ship.

Footy Action comes to the Triangle

There is quite a buzz around the footy fans of the Triangle area (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) as
the North Carolina Tigers will be playing host to last year's Division I Runners-up, the New York
Magpies, on Saturday June 25th.  This is the first EAFL home game for the Tigers.  A high level of
footy talent and excitement will be on display.  The action begins at 2 PM at Thompson Road Parkin Garner.  For complete details please check out: http://www.nctigers.com.

James Brunmeier's Journal June 11

June 11-12

Friday marked the end of a long semester of classes. My last responsibility for the week was my internship final presentation. Once that was over I was able to kick off my busy weekend. I saw two different codes of footy out of three games, two in person.
