Buffaloes trail on scoreboard but come out way ahead.

On a warm but overcast morning in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Coach Dustin Brasel was smiling. He carried that smile all day long...for good reason. The Tulsa Buffaloes were scheduled to host the Dallas Magpies and the Kansas City Power. Going into the game he was worried that he would need players form both visiting teams to round out his team. Dave Zitko from St Louis Blues Goes Down Under

Back in January, I received a message on Facebook from a guy I played footy with on the U23 Revolution team a couple years ago. The Revolution is the U.S. National team and the U23 team is the team for players 23 years old and younger. He asked me if I was interested in playing in Australia for a season. I replied back and said I was interested, and shortly after got an email from the Revolution head coach, Matt Bishop. At the time, I had no idea what was happening, but several people were working to find a team for me in Australia.

Dallas Top Dogs

The Dallas Magpies continued their strong start to the season defeating the Denver Bulldogs and the Austin crows comfortably on June 2nd in Allen, TX.

In what was expected to be the biggest game in club history, the pies went into the first game confident but wary of the Bulldogs winning history and on-field strength and experience.  Perfect conditions for football on a calm Saturday morning made for a great contest and from the very first bounce it was a fierce contest.

The Lonestars finally unveiled the long awaited strip and it looks fantastic! Our first run with the new kit saw only 8 players make the journey to play against Baton Rouge.
