Jul 19, 2022 Life Membership Nominations OpenThe nomination process for USAFL Life Members for the 25th Anniversary year is now open. The nomination process is open until August 15. The new Life Members will be announced at the USAFL 25th Anniversary Gala on Thursday October 13th at the Ontario Convention Center. Life Members are selected based on a candidate’s outstanding service and overall contribution to the game of Australian Football at a National level, taking into consideration a candidate’s individual record, ability, integrity, sportsmanship and character. Yes, there are mountains in Colorful Colorado. And from Westminster City Park, you can see most of them in the backdrop as you go up to take your specky. It’s just picture perfect. And thus we return for the third time as part of the USAFL Regional Championships Series, and the final leg of this year’s tour. Ice hockey, curling, lakes, elongating the letter “o”, and lutefisk. These are some of the things that Minnesota does right. On September 6th, 1997, the first Nationals was held in Cincinnati, Ohio. During the Saturday evening, a meeting behind the barn took place with a small group of AFL- loving Aussies and took the leap to start the United States Australian Football Association. May 23, 2022 Regional Championship Series Set for Grand ReturnAfter a three-year absence, American footy’s traveling road show is back. The USAFL Regional Championship Series makes its return starting June 4th and will be proverbially rocking the suburbs of Philadelphia, the Twin Cities, and Denver this summer. Regionals returns to its regular format after the COVID-19-19 pandemic wiped out the entire 2020 season, and the USAFL Summer Series took place in six cities last August. Read more » |

It’s the final weekend before Memorial Day, and the last before the USAFL Regional Tournament Series kicks off in Philadelphia in two weeks’ time. Mar 16, 2022 Sport Saved My Life Twice: The Story of Shawn SadowskiThe first time was Australian Rules Football and the second was Wheelchair Curling. Meet Shawn “Boomer” Sadowski. Boomer found footy when he was 19. He was a troubled youth and footy kept him off the street and gave him his first group of mates. In 2014 Boom was in a car accident and woke up to find himself a paraplegic. His home therapist introduced him to the Olympic Curling Coach and after his first curl he “was hooked”. Mar 14, 2022 Aussie Sports USA Inks Sponsorship DealThe USAFL is pleased to announce that a sponsorship agreement has been reached with Aussie Sports USA as an official apparel supplier of the USAFL. The agreement is in place from 2022 through the 2024 season. Aussie Sports has been providing uniforms and apparel to USAFL clubs since 2009. They bring decades of experience volunteering for sporting clubs in the US and Australia.
