Friday marked the end of a long semester of classes. My last responsibility for the week was my internship final presentation. Once that was over I was able to kick off my busy weekend. I saw two different codes of footy out of three games, two in person.

Winter began on June 1st but in spite of that our one bit of good luck on Saturday was the weather. The sun was shining and the temperature hovered around 70 degrees. The game was originally supposed to be at home but halfway through the week it was changed to away; away to the worst oval in the competition.

June 4th 2005 Demons traveled to Philadelphia and return with two much needed wins. Losing games in the Eastern League is sure relegation. After the heat of Florida and 17 on 16 men, an official 18 aside format with cooler conditions was welcomed.

The Las Vegas Gamblers held ther first footy practice in Vegas on May 16, 2005.


Five wirey gents showed to take part in the inaugral LVG kickoff. It was a great start to building a team in Las Vegas. The city is rich with talent and has the potential to field a very good team.
