Registration for East/West Closing Monday, May 7

All players planning on attending the East/West weekend on May 19 must be signed up in order to be eligible to play on the weekend.  This includes all Revolution Candidates.  If you just show up without notice, we cannot guarantee you a game.

Colin Murphy's Diary

Colin has been a member of the Seattle Grizzlies for the past 4 years and plans to be in Australia until March of 2008 playing footy and enjoying the lifestyle on the Mornington Peninsula, about an hour south-east of Melbourne. He has written the following piece on his first game playing for the Sharks.

After arriving back in Sydney from a week up in Queensland I had quite a bit of work to catch up on with my internship. I am working with a Guy named Andrew Hill who runs a recreation and sports company for kids called SportsStar. I have been typing up and researching an application for a business award with him

The USFooty store is low on stocks of Umpire’s Uniforms.  It has been decided that the League will place an order for uniforms on an annual basis, due to the costs and issues of shipping from Australia. We anticipate that we will not be placing another order until 2008.

The USAFL is delighted to announce that James Andrew Lamont (Andrew) of the Golden Gate Roos has been selected for the Macquarie Scholarship.  Congratulations, Andrew, we know you will represent the USAFL well and are sure your time in Australia will be an exciting and demanding one.

East West Hotel Deadline Extended

The USAFL has negotiated a group rate of $100/night at the Sheraton Suites Plantation at 311 N. University Dr., Plantation, FL 33324.  You have your choice of rooms with double beds or king beds.   All rooms are suites.  Please click following link to make reservations at the group rate.
