2007 East vs West Registration Open

The USAFL is proud to announce the 2007 East v. West Game.  This will be an exciting weekend of footy where the best Australian and American players in the country will get a chance to show what they can do.  The East has a 2-1 all-time advantage in East v. West matches.  Come on West, get your best to Fort Lauderdale and even things up!!

The Ugly Duckling…


The Chicago Australian Football Association is very sad to announce the passing of Rich Noty.  Rich had been recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and after failed chemotherapy, died Thursday afternoon, February 22nd 2007.  He was 48.

USFooty College Nationals

We would like to invite all eligible college teams to the 2007 USFOOTY National Collegiate Championships to be held at Vanderbilt College, Nashville, Tennessee on April 13-15, 2007.


The tournament will be a 9-a-side format and current students and Alumni no more than four (4) years out of the university they will represent are allowed to participate.  The cost is $45 per person for registration and $15 for a t-shirt. 

Baton Rouge thank Richmond Football Club

You will remember that many of our USFooty family - clubs and supporters - chipped in to help get the Baton Rouge Tigers to the Nationals.  The Richmond Football Club also helped, and recently Robert Montanaro was able to thank Richmond for their support

Office Closed for Annual Leave

The USFooty Office will be closed from February 12 -26, as I will be taking annual leave.

AZAFL's First Game of the Season

The first official footy match of 2007 played in the US is in the books which also happened to be the first match of the newly overhauled AZAFL was played on February 3 between the Devils and Dingos. Aside from the obvious stellar level of officiating enjoyed by players and spectators alike, a rather decent footy match broke out between these two teams.
