East West Hotel Deadline Extended

The USAFL has negotiated a group rate of $100/night at the Sheraton Suites Plantation at 311 N. University Dr., Plantation, FL 33324.  You have your choice of rooms with double beds or king beds.   All rooms are suites.  Please click following link to make reservations at the group rate.

If you do not book by May 1 you will have to book your room at market rate.  

The hotel is centrally located 12 miles to Ft. Lauderdale International Airport, 7 miles to downtown Ft. Lauderdale, 6 miles to the ground and 7 miles to the Hard Rock Casino. 

Registration:  If you want to play in the 2007 East v. West weekend, you will need to complete the following form and pay $25.  Coaches are encouraged to have your best players sign up.  The $25 covers the cost of the fields and umpires on the weekend.  If you register and pay your $25, we will assume you are coming and you will be guaranteed a game.  Please fill out all information requested on the form.

You will not be allowed to register without paying the $25.  Registering does not guarantee you will be in the feature match.  You do not have to be nominated by your coach to play.  However, selection will be done by the East and West coaches with input solicited from individual club coaches to ensure that the top players are playing in the feature match. 

Revolution:  This will also be a Revolution evaluation weekend, so Revolution players are expected to be in attendance. 

Travel:  There will likely be team meetings the night before the matches (probably around 10 p.m.).  If at all possible, please plan on attending those meetings.
