Luke Jenkins returned home from the United States and a stint with the Chicago Sharks in the USAFL to register his 100th AFLQ State League game last weekend.

West Perth in Australian First

West Perth Falcons Jared and James Brunmeier are the first American-born players to play football at State level in Australia.



James Brunmeier, 24, debuted for West Perth's reserves side on April 1, while brother Jared, 25, joined him a week later.


The Brunmeier's are from the Milwaukee Bombers, sent to West Perth under the Bombers/Falcons scholarship program.

Launch of USAFL Ambassadors Program

Robert  DiPierdomenico (aka ‘Dipper’), Colin Carter, Ian Dicker, Michael Voss and Rodney (Grilla) Grljusich have agreed to become our  Inaugural Ambassadors.


The Mission of the USAFL Ambassador program is to promote the interests of the USAFL and the growth of Australian Football in the US. The USFooty Ambassador program is comprised of individuals who have a high profile who will help promote the USAFL in Australia and America and have the capacity to assist the USAFL board in a number of different arenas.

No Blues for United

Lead by a dominating backline and ruthless midfield, Chicago were able to turn the screws on an undermanned Blues outfit that battled hard all day against huge odds.

Chicago's big win a sign of things to come

The Cincinnati Dockers once again hosted the team from Chicago in what was near perfect conditions for footy.


Chicago unveiled their new jumpers for the first time, a combination of the Sydney Swans and Southport Sharks designs.  Looking like a team, the Chicago boys ended up easy winners against a persistent Cinci squad.
