Western Regional Tournament

Here in Denver this Saturday July 14, the Denver Bulldogs host the Orange County Bombers and the current Div 1 National Champions the San Diego Lions. This Western Regional tournament will be a hard fought battle and results will be very important to each team as they press for inclusion in Div 1 at Nationals in October. The Bombers and the Lions go at it at 11am followed by a display from the Denver Bulldogs AussieBall All-stars at 12 noon. The Bombers then take on the Bulldogs at 1pm followed by a replay of last years Div 1 Grand Final between the Bulldogs and the Lions.

After the game we'll be having a pie and a few free beers courtesy of our sponsor Fullers while we watch some live AFL action at the British Bulldog, our sponsor pub. (gotta get those plugs in!)
 
The Bulldogs would like to extend an open invitation to all teams in the USAFL to come and visit Denver. If your team has never been here before and you'd like to see how far you can kick a ball at altitude, please drop me a line and we'll be happy to lay out the welcome mat for you. There's no skiing at this time of the year but Rockies tickets are cheap, the sun is always out and I've been told there are more single women in their twenties than blokes here? So I'm sure we can show you a good time! Kansas City Power and the Las Vegas Gamblers are coming on August 11 and we'd be happy to include your team too.
