For a number of years prior to 2011 the Boston Demons they had one of the biggest fans of Australian Rules Football in the entire US and probably the biggest non-Australian Geelong supporter ever... and they didn't even know it.

As an expat there is nothing quite like a day at the footy. A chance to watch our great game, get your teeth into a pie and just soak up the embodiment of Australiana. Ah, it is good to be home – even if just for a short while. That is what I was looking forward to when I planned a trip to the AAMI Stadium in Adelaide to see Port host the Greater Western Sydney (GWS) Giants. Well, this day ended up being like none other at the footy.

ANZAC Day is the national remembrance day of Australia and New Zealand and is commemorated each year on on April 25 to honor the members of the Australia & New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC).

The USA Freedom will be holding their annual training camp from May 31 - June 2 this year in the San Francisco bay area. All women interested in trying out for the team are encouraged to attend. The coaching staff will be selecting a senior and as well as a development squad to take to Canada for the 2013 Parallel Cup on August 3.
Women are traveling from all over the US for the camp and the coaching staff have prepared a weekend packed with footy and team building.

The USAFL is proud to announce the official launch of the League Management System (LMS). The LMS will allow teams to track games played during the season, player participation, and points earned for participation to help determine eligibility for Nationals.
