In a test unfamiliar to college basketballers, athletes excelled with impressive times in the 3km test. It was the final test of the 2013 AFL International Combine in LA today.
David Grzesiak from Wisconsin excelled with an elite time of 10mins 34sec, while ruck prospects 204cm Taylor Broekhuis (11min 24sec), 200cm Nathan Healy (11min 28sec) and 208cm Olatunji Kosile (11min 38sec) showed very impressive endurance in the unfamiliar and grueling test.

USA athletes attending the AFL International Combine in Los Angeles have broken records today.
Three athletes, David Grzesiak from the University of Wisconsin, Matt Sauey from the University of North Florida, and Cliff Ederine from the University of Eastern Washington, broke the standing vertical jump record of 85cm with 86cm leaps to become the best ever preformers in 18 years of testing.
The overall performances of the group really impressed the six AFL club representatives in attendance.

The athletes attending this year’s AFL US Combine have traveled from all across the US. This year's pool of players have come from basketball backgrounds primarily and also includes USAFL player David Grzesiak of the Chicago Swans.
Day one of the combine included a warm welcome from AFL Talent Manager Kevin Sheehan and an address by Sydney Swans Premiership player Tadhg Kennelly, who is regarded as one of the most success international recruits in AFL history.

The Revolution squad that will take on the Canadian Northwind in the 49th Parallel Cup in Edmonton, Alberta, on August 3 has been announced and it is the best squad to be named in his time, according to Head Coach Matt Bishop.
"The selection process was the hardest we have completed since 2009 with interest in the program at an all time high and as a result several recent Revolution players have not been selected in this squad."
