Records Broken at USA AFL International Combine

USA athletes attending the AFL International Combine in Los Angeles have broken records today.
Three athletes, David Grzesiak from the University of Wisconsin, Matt Sauey from the University of North Florida, and Cliff Ederine from the University of Eastern Washington, broke the standing vertical jump record of 85cm with 86cm leaps to become the best ever preformers in 18 years of testing.
The overall performances of the group really impressed the six AFL club representatives in attendance.
"With an average height of 201cm the 17 players with backgrounds in basketball, volleyball, baseball as well as track and field performed at an elite level in all areas of the combine," said AFL International and National Talent Manager Kevin Sheehan. "To see 208cm Olatunji Kosile run 2.97 seconds over 20 metres was one of many highlights for the day".
AFL Club representatives including Sydney Swans Paul Roos and GWS's Stephen Silvagni were extremely impressed with the performances and potential of what they observed on day one of testing.
