Stateside Footy TV Enters it's 3rd Year

For a number of years prior to 2011 the Boston Demons they had one of the biggest fans of Australian Rules Football in the entire US and probably the biggest non-Australian Geelong supporter ever... and they didn't even know it.
This person was Bill Robert. Along with being a huge supporter of Australia's national game, Bill is also a natural broadcaster and knows his way around a television studio. Once he sought the Demons out he had a plan all ready for how he could combine his two passions, footy and broadcasting. What he came up with was "Stateside Footy TV". He began to film the Demon's USAFL and Metro Footy matches and broadcasting them in the local Wilmington, Massachusetts region.
Bill not only films games, but he provides play by play commentary and has also developed an excellent introductory segment to explain the game in 'American'. In 2011 a segment from one of Bill's games was featured on 'Almost Footy Legends' on the AFL Footy Show in Australia. Watch it here »
The success of Stateside Footy TV has quickly grown and now has been televised on more than 37 local access cable channels in 11 states across the USA.
Bill is ably assisted by his lovely wife Stacey. She endures the long days in the sun and the numerous car trips across the country with camera equipment in tow and is 100% supportive of her husbands interests and our sport. They are a great team to watch or to hitch the first ride to the field any Saturday morning.
