May 5, 2023 What's On Tap: May 6, 2023As we head into May and more teams start to stir out of their slumber, we have three matches on the docket here featuring some old school rivalries. Each of the teams here were founded at the end of the 1990s, and continue to write the legendary battles between them. Mar 26, 2023 49th Parallel Cup Comes to Racine for 2023Racine, WI, — The United States Australian Football League (USAFL) will be hosting the 49th Parallel Cup, a series of matches between US and Canadian national representative teams. The men’s Cup will be held on Saturday, August 5th and the women’s Cup will be played two weeks later on Saturday, August 19th. Matches will take place at Soccer Complex of Racine (SCORe) located at 9509 Dunkelow Rd, Franksville, WI 53126. The event is free and open to the public. From the opening matches in March until the last siren blew in Ontario, California in October, there were hard fought contests and great footy on display. Dec 8, 2022 2022 National Championships RecapIn a season of a celebrated milestone, it was fitting that old, stalwart clubs came to the fore at the 2022 USAFL Nationals. We didn’t see the sun at the Silverlakes Sports Complex in Ontario, California until the awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon. Instead, we ended up with pure, Melbourne footy weather. Chilly temps and wind and a slow drizzle led to a pelting rain at the end of the day on Saturday, before tepid conditions took over on Sunday. Read more » |

What was originally forecast as a sunny, hot day turned out to be chilly, windy, and finally rainy. That, with the palm trees and mountains backdropping a bunch of footy ovals, you’dve thought you were in suburban Melbourne and not suburban Los Angeles. The conditions were an important part of the proceedings over the course of the first day at the 2022 USAFL National Championships.
