Players Encouraged to Sign Up for Revolution Game

I would like to thank USFooty for appointing me as the Head Coach for the next Revolution game.  I have been with the Revolution as a player since 2000 and it has been the highlight of my athletic career.  Over that time I have played all over the USA, Toronto, London and Melbourne.   I participated in 19 of the 21 games played.  During that time Matt Dainauski was along for every step.  I am proud to have him as my assistant for the game coming up in LA in January.

The USAFL is pleased to announce that as part of Australia Week 2006 we have organised a fantastic weekend for all Australian Rules football fans in the USA. This is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for every member of the USAFL to be part of our football history.


Come to UCLA on Sunday 15 January to see reigning AFL Premiers the Sydney Swans play an AFL-sanctioned game against the most successful team of the 90’s, the North Melbourne Kangaroos for the Qantas Cup.

Scholarship Winners Announced

The USAFL is delighted to announce the winners of our Scholarships. Daniel Harrison of the Florida Redbacks has been selected for the Macquarie Scholarship, and Rob Lutostanski of the Arizona Hawks is the winner of our AFL scholarship.  Congratulations, Danny and Rob – we know you will represent the USAFL well and are sure your time in Australia will be an exciting and demanding one.

Coaches Named for Revolution v Australia Clash


Coaches have been named for the Revo V Australia match in LA.  The US Revolution position has been vacant since Coach Alan Nugent, who led the team to a fantastic 3rd Place in this year’s International Cup in Australia, retired due to increasing work commitments. The Revolution Coaching Position will be decided later this year as the Board reviews the needs of our Revolution Program.

Adam Goodes delivery to US


SYDNEY Swans star Adam Goodes plans to play a leading hand in taking Australian Rules football around the world, particularly to the US.


Goodes and teammates Matthew Nicks, Jude Bolton, Jared Crouch, Michael O'Loughlin and Jarrad McVeigh went on a scouting mission last month to prepare for the club's 20-day tour to America in January.

National Championship Best & Fairest Vote Count

The votes were tallied and the awards given at the closing ceremony of the Nationals. Now it is your chance to see who garnered the umpires votes.


The Coopers Best and Fairest Medal is given to the highest vote getter in each Division. The USAFL is pleased to have a long-term supporter, dating back to the 2000 Nationals in LA, like Coopers.

Nationals Sweep America

The spirit of footy in America was caught on tape by Chris Gilbert during the 2005 National Championships. Chris is a freelance Aussie journalist based in New Jersey. He came to the Nationals to find out about how the sport was being introduced into the States. He caught the essence of how the Australian game and culture has found a home in America.
