Nov 26, 2012 Division One OutcomeOn November 19 the Dallas Magpies submitted an appeal to the USAFL Board regarding the decision to vacate the Division One championship title. The Executive Board reviewed the appeal and decided against any change to the sanctions. A decision to cheat and falsify records was made and the club must take responsibility for those actions. Nov 2, 2012 2012 Nationals ReviewThe 2012 Nationals will be remembered in the history books for not only being the League's 15th Anniversary, but for also not recording a Division I Championship team. Despite the Dallas Magpies being stripped of their Division I Championship Title, the tournament was a big success with an outstanding level of football across all divisions. Thirty seven teams were spread across the 4 men's divisions and the women's division. Nov 2, 2012 2012 Honors & AwardsIn its 15th year the United States Australian Football League recognized a number of outstanding individuals who have contributed to the growth and development of Australian Football here in the USA. First, a great honor was bestowed upon two of the League’s legends in Rich Mann and Denis Ryan. They both were inducted into the USAFL’s Hall of Fame at the Welcome Function on Friday, October 12. Nov 2, 2012 Welcome your new 2013 USAFL Board MembersWelcome to the 2013 USAFL Board Members who were elected at the 2012 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mason, Ohio on October 12. This year's Board remains mostly unchanged with a number of USA National team representatives and long time members of the USAFL community comprising the group. The 2013 Board has 2 new additions, Keith Nelson, who took over in mid-2012 as Treasurer and Andrew Werner as VP Central. Oct 30, 2012 2012 Division One Championship VacatedThe USAFL has concluded an investigation in relation to Dallas Magpie Jason Sutherland’s participation at the 2012 USAFL National Tournament and it was found that Jason was ineligible to participate with the Dallas Magpies at this year’s Nationals. The investigation revealed that Sutherland was an active member of Central District Football Club in Adelaide for their entire season which ended October 7. Read more » |

This year the USAFL will be participating once again in the fantastic event to help raise money for a great cause. Movember is all about bringing back the moustache, having fun and doing it for a serious cause; men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
