Mo'way - it's Movember already!!

30 Days hath September, April, June and Movember! That's right, Movember is back! This year the USAFL will be participating once again in the fantastic event to help raise money for a great cause.

Movember is all about bringing back the moustache, having fun and doing it for a serious cause; men's health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. Mo Bros commit to growing a moustache for the 30 days of Movember, and in doing so become walking and talking billboards for the cause. The moustache is our ribbon, the symbol by which we generate conversations, awareness and raise funds for men's health.

"We want to encourage as many USAFL clubs to participate in this great cause and post photos, hold events and even competitions amongst each other," said USAFL's new VP Central Andrew "Tiger" Werner. "The Movember movement began in Australia, which is just another great reason to get behind the event", he concluded. Thanks goes to Tiger for spearheading this event for the USAFL.

Whilst the growing of Moes is limited to the guys, Mo Sistas play a vital role in the success of Movember by supporting and encouraging the men in their life to get involved, and participating in raising funds and awareness themselves. You and your club can also attend various events such as Gala Partés, Mo Parties, Mo Runs or host your own event in honor of Movember.
