Welcome your new 2013 USAFL Board Members
Welcome to the 2013 USAFL Board Members who were elected at the 2012 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mason, Ohio on October 12. This year's Board remains mostly unchanged with a number of USA National team representatives and long time members of the USAFL community comprising the group.
The 2013 Board has 2 new additions, Keith Nelson, who took over in mid-2012 as Treasurer and Andrew Werner as VP Central. Former VP Central, Dan Sarbacker, has taken on another role in the League working as with the League's strategic development and partnerships.
ANDY VANICA, PRESIDENT | Denver Bulldogs | USA Revolution Andy joined the league in 2006 and has played as a member of the Boston Demons, Milwaukee Bombers and now Denver Bulldogs. He has also been a USA Revolution player since 2007, and competed at the AFL International Cup in both 2008 and 2011. |

BRANDON BLANKENSHIP, VP WEST | San Diego Lions | USA Revolution Brandon is a player and the current President of the San Diego Lions Football Club. He has been playing since 2003 and has been a part of the USA Revolution since 2005. |

ANDREW WERNER, VP CENTRAL | Minnesota Freeze | USA Revolution Vice-Captain Andrew began playing footy with the Minnesota Freeze in 2008 and in 2009, he completed a season of country football in Western Australia for the Mt. Barker Bulls. Andrew is the current captain of the Minnesota Freeze and also Vice-Captain of the USA Revolution. |

MICHAEL SHEPPARD, VP EAST | Boston Demons Michael has been involved with Footy since 2005 with Latrobe University and then the Boston Demons as both a player and an administrator. Mike took on the role as VP East in 2010. |

ANDREA CASILLIAS, SECRETARY | New York Magpies | USA Freedom Andrea began playing Footy in 2005 with the Arizona Lady Hawks and later founded the New York Magpies. She has also represented the USA Freedom since 2009 and competed at the 2011 International Cup. Andrea has been on the board since 2010 as Women’s Development Coordinator and Secretary. |

KEITH NELSON, TREASURER Keith assumed the role of Treasurer in June 2012. A relative newcomer to the USAFL, Keith is focused on overseeing the fiscal health of the USAFL.

KATHRYN HOGG, MEMBER-AT-LARGE | Minnesota Freeze | USA Freedom Kathryn has been involved with Footy in the USA since 2003 and now plays for the Minnesota Freeze. She was the leading driver behind the current day USAFL women's competition. Kathryn represented the USA Freedom at all events through the 2011 International Cup. Kathryn was the director of women's football through 2009 and has served as Member at Large since 2012. As the defacto Chief Technology Officer, she focuses on the league's IT initiatives. |
