Jun 24, 2013 The Biggest Little City to Host Inaugural Western Regional TournamentUp to ten USAFL teams will descend upon Reno, Nevada this September in the first ever Western Regional Tournament. Both mens and womens teams will compete in this one day event to help provide a more comprehensive method for ranking teams leading up to the USAFL National Tournament in October. Jun 18, 2013 2014 International Cup dates confirmedThe AFL is pleased to announce the 2014 International Cup will be held in Melbourne from Saturday August 9 to Saturday August 23 2014. The fifth International Cup carnival will include two AFL curtain-raiser matches, matches played at AFL and VFL venues, a men’s and women’s competition, a standalone AFL 9s fixture and matches linked with community football leagues. Jun 8, 2013 Record Numbers Attend Freedom CampA record 70+ attended the 2013 USA Freedom Training camp in the San Francisco East Bay over the weekend of June 1-2. Players came from all over the US including New York, Boston, Minnesota, Baltimore, Washington DC, Columbus, Arizona, Denver, Los Angeles and Sacramento. A record will be set with over 70 participants attending in the hopes of representing their country against Canada at the 49th Parallel Cup in Edmonton this August.
