LMS Points Adjustments

The USAFL is announcing a slight change to the Nationals Eligibility Point (NEP) structure.  Previously 1/2 point was earned for metro matches and 1 point was earned in USAFL matches.  All points are now doubled:

  • 6 points are needed for nationals eligibility
  • 2 points are earned for USAFL matches
  • 1 point is earned for metro matches
  • A maximum of 2 points can be earned in a calendar week
  • A maximum of 2 points can be earned in metro matches

This does not affect the number or combination of games needed to attain eligibility for nationals:

  • 3 USAFL games
  • 2 USAFL games and 2 metro games

In order to earn points for a match the following criteria must be satisfied

  1. Scores are submitted via the League Management System (LMS)
  2. Clubs must submit a roster for the match
  3. Player must be registered for the current season (dues paid) within 6 days of the match being played
  4. Player must play for their club or be a borrowed player on the roster for their opponent.  E.g. if you play for Kansas City but are loaned to Tulsa for a tournament, you will earn points when KC and Tulsa play but not if Tulsa plays Des Moines.

The LMS is now reporting player's match history and NEP earned.  There are several ways to view this:

Club Roster

  1. Access your club portal via the strip of logos or use the "Find a Team" link
  2. Click on the "Roster" tab for the team
  3. Click on any player on that club to view that match history and NEP earned

  2. Click on a match in the club's matches for the year
  3. Click on any player's name in the roster to view their match history and NEP earned.

If you've played in matches and are not seeing NEP earned, please make sure your club admin has submitted scores and a roster for the match.  If you have any questions, please contact your regional VP.
