Nov 10, 2000 AZAFL kicks offA few words about the inaugural matches held Friday night. We also had a large contingent of fan support braving the threatening storms on hand to be a part of this historic occasion. I would have to say that we did not disappoint them either. Read more » |

Sep 22, 2000 AFL Player ScholarshipWe have arranged for the US's best (must have no Aussie ties) player for 2000 to spend two weeks at Essendon (the 2000 Premiers) in the early part of 2001. USAFL will fund the entire trip (except for food and spending money) and the player will be billetted out to an Essendon player, train with the club, under the guidance of legendary coach, Kevin Sheedy, and will hopefully participate in an intraclub scrimmage match. The recipient of this scholarship will be announced soon after the National Tournament (the player will not necessarily be the National Tournament MVP). Read more » |
