Denver Show their Stuff at Arena Football

Event: Arena Football Australian Football Demo Game
Date: March 25th, 2006
Time: Halftime: Game starts at 7:05pm
Place:  Pepsi Center, Denver Colorado home of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche


The Denver Bulldogs, 5 Time National USAFL Champions, hosted an in-door Australian Rules Football demo game on an Arena Football field when they played at half time between the Colorado Crush and the Columbus Destroyers.

With just one week left before mid-semester break, things got a kind of hectic. My roommates and friends were preparing for their big trips to Fiji, New Zealand, and the Gold Coast, professors were cramming in the last bit of lectures and tutorials, and I was trying to get to a good stopping point in my internship project. SCAFL to Host Western Regionals

The Southern Californian Australian Football League is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the first Western Regional Tournament for 2006 over the weekend of June 17,18.


Teams confirmed are the SoCal Bombers (formerly OC), Denver Bulldogs, San Diego Lions, Arizona Hawks and Seattle Grizzlies. Also, players from the Vegas Gamblers and the Mojave Greens will play a 9 a side exhibition match, and their players will be available to help out any teams short on numbers during the tournament.

All players - American and Australian - who are interested in participating in the East West game to be held in Sarasota Florida on July 1,2,3 need to register online as soon as possible. Registration will be open until May 17. 


The East West game is the League equivalent of an All Stars Game.

Danny's Journal March 26-April 3


Despite my illness and the long, boring days of resting, the weekend slipped by quite quickly. By Sunday, I felt real good as most of the symptoms began to subside. The swelling in my throat had completely gone away and my temperature seemed to have decided to stabilize at a comfortable zone. Man, now I know why Penicillin was praised as such a great scientific finding!
