May 1, 2012 Freedom to Visit Minnesota OPEN TO ALL INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS – Each year, players from across the nation come to training camp in hopes of earning a spot on the USA Freedom squad. This year, the Freedom training camp will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 15-17. The team will be preparing for the August 4 game against Canada in the 2012 49th Parallel Cup. Apr 28, 2012 USAFL & Down Under Fest to Host 2nd Umpire Clinic
This Memorial Day Weekend, May 25-28, in Cumming, Georgia while the Down Under Festival is promoting everything Australia, the USAFL will conduct the second Umpire Clinic of 2012, in conjunction with the DUFFA Cup Carnival. The Umpire Clinic is designed for all levels of umpires, from those who are just starting out through to experienced umpires who are working towards accreditation. In addition to classroom time and field time, all attendees will have multiple opportunities to umpire games during the festival and receive feedback and coaching. Read more » |

Apr 19, 2012 Kings Island to Host 2nd USAFL Nationals In 2012 Kings Island Resort & Conference Center will once again host the USAFL National Tournament and competing teams. The resort will be the official host hotel of this year's tournament with all meetings, the USAFL AGM, player registration and Friday night welcome function taking place at the conference center. Bill Robert, Producer and Host of the show has been working hard and now it is televised on multiple cable networks across the USA. Mar 13, 2012 AFL to be televised on FOX SOCCER Plus in 2012 The AFL announced today that FOX SOCCER Plus will be the 2012 telecast partner in the USA. The three-year deal will include two matches per week being televised live as well as a weekly one-hour highlights show. The first match to be shown will be the derby clash between Greater Western Sydney (GWS) Giants and the Sydney Swans on March 23 (televised in the US on March 25 4:20amET/3:20amCT/2:20amMT/1:20amPT) followed on March 30 by Hawthorn and Collingwood (televised in the US on March 29 at 4:50amET/3:50amCT/2:50amMT/1:50amPT). Mar 12, 2012 Player Registration for the 2012 Season is Open! The USAFL Player Registration System is open for the 2012 season! All players participating in a USAFL team's activities must register with the USAFL. Players must be registered in order to earn points towards their Nationals eligibility. Players must earn a minimum of 3 points to be eligible to participate at Nationals for their club. Players earn 1 point per USAFL game played and .5 point per metro game played. Read more » |

The USAFL are seeking applications for two positions beginning June 2012. The Board position of Treasurer will be vacated in June 2012. Additionally a replacement for the contracted position of Accountant, both for the period of June 2012 until October 2012. The USAFL Board would like to have both positions filled by May 30, 2012.Pages
