The USA Takes on the World

This Friday, August 12 the 2011 AFL International Cup officially kicks off in Sydney, Australia. More than 70 USAFL members are travelling to Australia to represent the USA Revolution and USA Freedom squads.

Both the Revolution and Freedom squads include players from all over the United States with a wide range of ages, experience, athletic ability, professional careers, ethnic backgrounds, you name it!

2011 USAFL Nationals Club Registration Now Open

Club registrations for the 2011 Nationals in Austin, TX, October 7 - 9 is now open. Club Presidents were sent the registration form earlier today. The form is to be completed and submitted by Friday, August 5 by 5pm CST. If you have any questions contact Operations Manager, Doren James at operations@usafl.com.

A Mile High in Denver with Brett Kirk

The lush green athletic field at Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver was the site for the 2011 USAFL Mile High Challenge.

On Saturday June 25, 2011 over 100 men and women players from around the USAFL converged at the picturesque college campus on a warm sunny Colorado day. Over 200 sun screened spectators lined the boundary line including former Sydney Swans Captain and current Swans Hall of Famer, AFL Ambassador, Brett Kirk. Brett was in Denver as part of his “Captain Kirks Odyssey” world tour.

Stateside Footy - Episode 11-01: 2011 Season Preview & Women's Footy

Stateside Footy presents another two-part episode to kick off its second season. The first part is a preview of the Boston Demons 2011 Australian Rules Football season including interviews and highlight footage. The second part presents a Women's Footy match played in Yonkers, N.Y., featuring female footballers from the Boston, New York, and Baltimore-Washington teams. Stateside Footy is a cable access TV show produced at WCTV - Wilmington Community Television in Wilmington, MA. It features Aussie Rules Football as it is played in the U.S.A.

Captain Kirk to join the Mile High Club!

Former AFL player and Sydney Swans captain, Brett Kirk will be in Denver for the "2011 USAFL - Mile High Challenge" on Saturday June 25^th. Kirk will be in Denver as part of his Captain Kirk’s Odyssey world tour.

Denver is one of only three US stops on his groundbreaking tour across the world where he will be visiting many of the countries that are going to take part in the AFL’s International Cup in Sydney and Melbourn during August.

To mark the occasion the Denver Bulldogs Australian Football Club will be staging the 2011 USAFL - Mile High Challenge.
