Denver Bulldogs U.S. National Champs

Press Release from Denver Bulldogs.

Mason, Ohio - October 11th, 2009. The Denver Bulldogs are once again the Australian Football National Champions. The US Footy League National Championship tournament was held over the October 11th weekend in Mason, Ohio. Thirty two men’s and eight women’s teams from across the US and Canada competed for the title.

It's Footy Time!

Just some last minute reminders about Nationals:

The office in Denver will be closed from Wed Oct 7-Tuesday Oct 12.

Anyone who has not provided proof of Nationality (if American team proof of USA Born or if Canadian team proof of Canada born), will need to bring their passports or birth certificate and photo id to Nationals. All players who have provided proof this year and has a confirmation from me will only need a photo id for check in.

As Nationals time approaches I will be updating the Nationals 2009 page weekly to reflect any new information that is available. Please take the time to check as this will be one of the best ways to get information about Nationals. Added this week: Tournament Schedule and AGM agenda!

Registrations, Waivers and Proof of Nationality

For all players who registered by mail if you have not submitted a manual registration form and waiver you are NOT registered. This must be done immediately or you may risk not playing at Nationals.


Also, there will be very long lines at Nationals check in this year because only about 200 players out of 1000 have provided proof of Nationality. If you want to avoid long lines please submit proof of Nationality, the two forms of proof that will be excepted is a) copy of passport photo page (showing place of birth) or b) a birth certificate and photo id.
