MHz Networks Launch AFL Channel on Roku

MHz Networks announced today that they have launched an AFL channel on Roku.

USAFL Presents 5 Year Strategic Plan to the AFL

AFL International Manager, Tony Woods visited the US at the end of April  for the second time since stepping into the role two years ago.  The occasion marked a significant opportunity for the USAFL to present a five year strategic plan in line with the AFL’s overall international goals.  USAFL representatives President, Andy Vanica, Treasurer, Adam Coleman, Vice-President Central, Dan Sarbacker and Operations Manager Doren James met with Woods in Chicago and gave an overview of the plan that will guide the USAFL’s development over the next five years.

ANZAC Day 2012 - Watch it Live

Each year on ANZAC day the Collingwood Magpies take on the Essendon Bombers at the MCG. This has taken place every year since 1995, an will continue to so. That is the tradition.

Stateside Footy TV Wants Your Footage!

Stateside Footy TV, a Wilmington, Massachusetts, based cable access show has been growing over the past year. Bill Robert, Producer and Host of the show has been working hard and now it is televised on multiple cable networks across the USA.

Bill is looking to expand not only the coverage but the content of the program and is now reaching out to USAFL clubs for additional footage to add to his program.

2011 USAFL Annual Report

The 2011 USAFL Executive Board Annual Report is now available. The Report details the year's highlights, USAFL Programs, the International Cup, National Tournament results and financial data. The cover photo features the 2011 USA Freedom and USA Revolution Captains, Judith Stein & Daniel Sarbacker in Sydney during the International Cup.

Player Registration for the 2012 Season is Open!

Player Registration

The USAFL Player Registration System is open for the 2012 season! All players participating in a USAFL team's activities must register with the USAFL. Players must be registered in order to earn points towards their Nationals eligibility.  Players must earn a minimum of 3 points to be eligible to participate at Nationals for their club. Players earn 1 point per USAFL game played and .5 point per metro game played.

USAFL Seeks New Treasurer and Accountant

The USAFL are seeking applications for two positions beginning June 2012. The Board position of Treasurer will be vacated in June 2012. Additionally a replacement for the contracted position of Accountant, both for the period of June 2012 until October 2012. The USAFL Board would like to have both positions filled by May 30, 2012.

As part of the AFL’s international development strategy the AFL is once again inviting international affiliates to nominate their most talented junior players for an opportunity to be selected in the World XVIII team. This program is a key component of the International Talent Pathway, providing opportunities for overseas based players to be exposed to high level competition and expert coaching.

Milwaukee's Heather O'Keeffe in Queensland
