Women's football, just like everything else, is bigger in Texas.
It's been nine years since the USAFL's women's competition expanded to a second division, featuring combined sides to go with D1's full slate. There's been some success and challenges, but there has also been some unforgetable results and matchups.
Here in 2024, nineteen USAFL clubs and two from AFL Canada will come together to determine who will be queens of the oval. Both groups of champions will have their crowns challenged.

The United States Australian Football League (USAFL) International Program is excited to announce the reappointment of Andrew Donlen as head coach of the US Freedom women’s national team and Kyle Strenski as head coach of the US Revolution men’s national team. Both coaches had successful campaigns in 2024 when the program did a big reset after the COVID disruption led to a lapse in international competition.

Austin, Texas. A capital city.
Capital in many respects. It’s a great place to live. There is some damn good food here. Some of the best barebque and Tex-Mex I’ve had while grazing God’s green planet have been during one of our four previous trips to Austin for Nationals.
The music scene is really good too, whether you like country or indie or rock or whatever. They are the Live Music Capital of the world after all. Maybe the air makes the notes sound sweeter. Who knows?
