2021 USAFL Tournament & National Championships Schedule Release

The USAFL Executive Board is excited to announce that the USAFL will be hosting 6 sub-regional tournaments across the country for summer 2021.

Club input via the USAFL Club Conference in February and recent Regional calls has been critical to shaping the 2021 season. Based on this feedback and the varying circumstances across the country, the USAFL Executive Board has decided to pivot from the normal Regionals format this year to sub-regional tournaments to provide all clubs accessible USAFL tournament football ahead of 2021 Nationals.

The following locations and dates have been confirmed:

2021 Sub-Regional Tournament Series

• August 7 – Cincinnati, OH
• August 7 – Sacramento, CA
• August 14 – Philadelphia, PA
• August 14 – Madison, WI
• August 21 – Arlington, TX
• August 21 - Savannah, GA

The priority is to provide safe access to tournament footy for all players, so clubs must focus on tournaments within their proximity. We continue to pursue additional options in the West and will keep clubs in that area informed.

2021 USAFL National Championships 

The decision has been made to change the location of 2021 Nationals to Austin, Texas on the new date of October 15 - 17 which we believe is in the best interest of clubs and the USAFL. The main drivers being club accessibility to a more central and stable location where we have been multiple times before, providing the best possible Nationals experience this year. The plan will be to reschedule Nationals in 2022 to Ontario, California at SilverLakes Sports Complex.
