May 15, 2011 Captain Kirk to join the Mile High Club!Former AFL player and Sydney Swans captain, Brett Kirk will be in Denver for the "2011 USAFL - Mile High Challenge" on Saturday June 25th. Kirk will be in Denver as part of his Captain Kirk’s Odyssey world tour. Denver is one of only three US stops on his groundbreaking tour across the world where he will be visiting many of the countries that are going to take part in the AFL’s International Cup in Sydney and Melbourn during August. May 13, 2011 Appointment of Casillas to USAFL SecretaryAndrea Casillas was recently appointed as Secretary on the USAFL Executive Board after Jim Martin chose to step down from the position. Andrea has been Women's Program Coordinator for the USAFL since 2010 and will remain in this role. She will also represent the USAFL as a part of the USA Freedom later this year at the AFL International Cup in Australia. The goal of the Club was to design a new logo and a completely unique and original look for the Arizona Hawks. Apr 17, 2011 Foxtel the Winner in Footy DealCHANNEL Seven has agreed to share Friday night football with Foxtel for the next five years as the battle for the 2012-16 broadcast rights moves close to resolution. A $1 billion, five-year deal remains in the AFL's sights, with a report expected to be tabled at today's AFL Commission meeting in Melbourne confirming that Foxtel will televise all nine home-and-away games live, with four of those games simulcast with the free-to-air broadcast partners.
