Oct 17, 2021 Wind and Weathering - Day 1 at the USAFL NationalsThe wild winds of Texas swept swiftly and certainly on Saturday at the 2021 USAFL Nationals. Div 4 has a mixture of reserves teams, smaller clubs, and brand new teams. Each match is important, and each game vital towards lifting a cup and having a medal around your neck on Sunday night. Oct 14, 2021 2021 USAFL Nationals - Women's Division PreviewFor the past ten seasons, it’s been either the Denver Bulldogs or San Francisco Iron Maidens who have lifted the trophy at the end of the season. And the Bulldogs saw their run of deep runs at Nationals come to an unceremonious end, finishing sixth and last in D1, and leaving Lakewood Ranch, Florida without even a goal to reminisce on. And, oddly enough, all five of them -- Denver (8), Austin (5), New York (2), San Diego (2), and Golden Gate (1) -- will have a go at ticking those numbers in parentheses up by one this coming weekend in Austin. Sometimes that clock chimes in October, but the familiar tones occur in September. And usually, that Colosseum is the gargantuan MCG.
