AFL Quebec is delighted to announce its second annual Women’s only tournament to be held at College Andre Grasset, on Saturday May 9th from 9.00am.
The tournament will see host team and reigning champions the Montreal Angels do battle with the 2013 champions Ottawa Swans Australian Football Club and North East Shield Rivals the New York Magpies. 2015 will also be the year we welcome the OAFL powerhouse team the Hamilton Wildcats AFC to the tournament. There will also be representation from the Etobicoke Kangaroos, Boston Demons and Toronto High Park Demons. It truly promises to be an amazing spectacle of women’s footy.
Rookie Game:
Later in the afternoon, also at College Andre Grasset, the 3rd Annual AFL Quebec Rookie Game, where all those still new or relatively new to footy will get chance to play footy with those of similar experience levels to themselves.
Quebec Saints -v- Boston Demons
The day will then culminate when the Quebec Saints take on their cross boarder rivals, the Boston Demons, in what will be a fiercely contested battle.
