2020 Australia Day and Bushfire Relief Events

Australia Day is celebrated each year on January 26th.  This year, it will feel quite different.

We have seen the images and heard the stories coming out of Australia with regards to the fires that have raged on for the past several months.  The toll it has taken – dozens of human lives, many homes, at least a billion animals, and what is sure to be a long lasting effect on the environment – has been stunningly tragic.

It has left us, as a community, asking what we can do to help.

2019 USAFL Roll of Honor

The completion of every USAFL season is a time of reflection, recovery, and celebration.

For each of the clubs in the league, there is always something to celebrate.  For some, it is an improvement in on- and/or off-field growth.  For others, the gallantries involve drinking out of a championship cup or two.  Many, if not all, are celebrated at pubs that have backed these clubs financially and spiritually, and it's a chance to return the favor.

That Was the Year That Was 2019

Time knows no boundaries.  It is us as humans who set them.

And the ones we have set mark two things.  One, that this year of 2019 is coming to an end in a matter of days, and with it the end of the second decade of the 21st century.
