The Baltimore Washington Eagles begins its 5th season of USFooty's Saturday Morning Footy program on Saturday June 19. The youth footy program based on the AFL Auskick program began in Arlington in 2006 with 2 sessions and 22 participants. In 2009 it had grown to 5 sessions with 41 participants. So far this year, 49 kids have registered online to participate in the program, making 2010 the biggest year yet.

Players that attend the Denver Women's Tournament on June 19, 2010 have the chance to qualify for the 2010 USA Freedom Team to play the Canadian Northern Lights in Toronto on July 31st and August 1st. Players still wanting to come under consideration for selection should act fast by joining on the Freedom Academy at womensfooty.com to ensure that the coaches are aware of their intentions.

The New York Magpies hosted the first women's tournament of the 2010 season at on May 8. Three teams competed in the Big Apple for the first hit out of the year: the New York Magpies, the Toronto Central Blues, and the Reds, a fusion team comprised of players from Atlanta, Baltimore, Minnesota, Arizona, Milwaukee, and Denver. The tournament was a great success with tough tackling and determination at the ball under the hot sun in Yonkers, NY.
