USAFL gets a much-needed facelift!

June 14, 2010 – The United States Australian Football League (USAFL), the governing body for Australian Rules Football in the U.S., today launched an exciting new brand identity.

The new look and feel incorporates a new league website and logo that was designed to reinforce the connection the USAFL has with its parent body, the Australian Football League (AFL).

The USAFL has been working with a sports marketing and technology solutions company, Aussie Sport Stuff, to develop a marketing strategy that will strengthen their presence in the U.S. market.

The marketing strategy incorporates utilization of social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, and smartphone applications with the website being the main source and repository for USAFL developments.

“The new website will be critical in the development and expansion of Australian Football in the United States, particularly in facilitating league information management and communication”, said USAFL President, Richard Mann.

Last month, the USAFL announced the launch of a new online player registration system. This was the first step in the website overhaul. Additional innovative improvements will be made to the website in the near future, including online club administration and a new USAFL Footy Store.

The new website has been designed to facilitate ease of use for all participants including players, fans, officials and more.
