The Nashville Kangaroos Board has chosen to take a new direction with coaching for the the mens football team and Marty Thompson will no longer be filling that role. The Club is launching a search for a new head coach. If you know of anyone who might be willing and able to fill the role, please have them contact Jeff Persson at president@nashvillekangaroos.org. In addition, with our Football Manager role also vacant, please direct any enquiries about the 2011 schedule to Luke Nemeth at luke@nashvillekangaroos.org.

US Revolution Head Coach, Matt Bishop, is excited and nervous about the big year ahead, with his team heading to the International Cup in Sydney and Melbourne in August. "The anticipation and anxiety levels have certainly shot up since the clock ticked into 2011. While there are many projects to be completed before the International Cup part of me wishes it was here already!"

Australia Day is the official national day of Australia. Celebrated annually on January 26, the day commemorates the arrival of the First Fleet at Sydney Cove in 1788, the hoisting of the British flag there, and the proclamation of British sovereignty over the eastern seaboard of New Holland.
