In an unprecedented event in Australian football worldwide, the Nashville Kangaroos game against the Atlanta Kookaburras was ended by Metropolitan Nashville Park Police, who expressed concern for potential damage to the field.

Decked out with their brand new kits, the Sacramento Suns headed to Las Vegas on July 28 to see if they could play as good as they looked. The Nevada sun greeted them which was almost a cool relief after the recent Sacramento weather patterns.
The day began with the Lady Suns taking on the Arizona Lady Hawks, who had some help with girls from Las Vegas, the San Francisco Bay area, Orange County, and Los Angeles filling in.

With four teams set to represent the USA at this years 49th Parallel Cup, two new designs have been unveiled for the USA Revolution and Freedom jumpers.
The jumper designs incorporate the American Bald Eagle and Statue of Liberty icons which were featured in the team's 2011 International Cup off-field uniforms.

The Kangaroos remember well their epic journey to Boston in 2010. With flight delays and an unplanned overnight stopover, the trip to Boston took over 20 hours. Nonetheless, the Nashville team leaped onto the field and quickly took control of the 2010 game.
