The USAFL is very excited to announce it is sending not one but two full women’s sides for the upcoming AFL International Cup. The two squads, named the Freedom and Liberty, are made up of female footy players from all corners of the USA. According to Head Coach Leigh Barnes, the pre-tournament training camp was an impressive experience.

The 2014 International Cup is only one month away now and about 100 players and coaches are getting more and more excited every day. For some, it is a return to the homeland and even the home city. For others, it is a return to the birthplace of our beloved sport of Australian Rules Football and a second (or even third) opportunity for glory. And for many, it is the chance of a lifetime, the first time to Australia or even the first time overseas.

Dear Former USAFL Player,
The 2014 AFL International Cup (IC14) is less than 14 days away. As you know, our players and staff are all volunteers and must fund their own trips to represent the USAFL at IC14, where it is estimated each member will spend a minimum of $4,000.
At 17 years of age, the USAFL is now old enough to establish a vibrant and functional Alumni. To kick off our Alumni drive, the USAFL is offering exclusive admission to the VIP section of the 2014 USAFL Nationals in Dublin, Ohio for any donations of $50 or more. Participants will be treated to free Coopers products on both the Saturday and Sunday at Nationals.
