USAFL Nationals Logo 2011 Released

The 2011 USAFL Nationals preparations are well underway. This week the USAFL released the official logo for this year's Tournament.

The logo features a traditional Texan icon, longhorn cattle, which is cleverly designed using football goal posts for horns.

The tournament organizing committee has been working with the Austin Sports Commission to ensure that this year's Nationals are a huge success, both for the USAFL and the Austin community.

“Our office is thrilled to be working with the organizers of this national tournament,” says Matthew Payne, executive director of the Austin Sports Commission. “Austin has always had a great reputation for its hospitality and active live music scene, but we’re increasingly known as a perfect destination for all kinds of sports – Tae Kwon Do to volleyball, triathlons and more – to host a championship event.  We’re looking forward to showcasing Austin among the hundreds of athletes competing in the USAFL National Tournament.”
