Those interested in coaching the US Men's national team need to be living in the United States and be able to provide work history and visa status if applicable. In addition, applicants should have attained level 2 coaching accreditation or have the desire to do so. Apr 2, 2015 Matt Bishop Resigns as Revolution Head CoachMatt Bishop has resigned from his role as the Revolution Head Coach. The USAFL would like to thank Matt for his services over the last six years, where he maintained a 10-4 win/loss record, taking the Revolution to a 4th place finish at the 2011 International Cup and 8th at the 2014 International Cup. Matt contributed many significant innovations to the program, including Google Hangouts, Coach’s Eye, video review, the creation of the Leadership group, the Culture and Behaviors program, the use of statistics and assistant coaches and the creation of the Development Squad. Over the last several seasons, the combine has been an opportunity for young American athletes to potentially continue their athletic careers after college, in a sport that allows them to use the skill sets they already have. Whereas at one time it the EAFL could claim three teams in the highest division at Nationals, now it is largely dominated by teams from the West.
