Earlier this week AFL Development launched a new community club website aimed at providing resources to all levels of Australian football clubs. The site features videos, articles, drills, skills, pathways to coaching and umpiring accreditation and many other great resources. USA to AUS - The Intern from Texas

G'day Mate! My name is Julie Fisher and I am a proud Austin, Texan working at the Claremont Football Club (in Perth, Western Australia) until May 2010. I am currently enrolled at Texas State University, but I am satisfying my last course credit by working here at the footy club. Woods taking footy to the world

FORMER midfielder Tony Woods will help drive the AFL's expansion into the world domain following his appointment at the League's first international development manager.

Woods, who played 173 games for Fitzroy, Collingwood and Hawthorn, will return to the AFL to begin the brand new role in early May.

It is the first full-time dedicated international role at the AFL and indicates the growing need for personnel to oversee the game's growth at an international level.

Tickets are $30, which must be purchased in advance from www.chicagofooty.com to guarantee entry. Your ticket includes a drink package (beer, wine & soda) for 3 hours (7:30-10:30pm). Tickets are also available for $10 without the drinks package. The big ANZAC Day clash between Essendon and Collingwood will also be televised live.

Player Registration Now Available!

The USAFL is pleased to announce that USAFL Player Registration for 2010 is now open! Players can now sign up and pay their 2010 Player Registration fees online.

The USAFL in conjunction with Aussie Sport Stuff have developed an online account creation and billing system that has been designed to streamline player registrations.

Players are advised to get in early and take advantage of the early bird discounts. Players who register by May 10th will pay only $40, by July 31 will pay $50, by October 6 will pay $75 and on site registration at the 2010 National Tournament will be $100.
