Aug 20, 2014 2014 West Regional Championship The 2014 West Regional Championship tournament is set for Saturday, September 13. All the action will take place at Harbor Sport Center, 1221 N Figueroa Place, Wilmington CA 90744 with first bounce scheduled for 9 AM. Participating men's teams will be Los Angeles Dragons, San Diego Lions, Seattle Grizzlies, Golden Gate Roos and Orange County Bombers. A women's west region team made up of players from Sacramento, San Francisco and Denver will take on the St Albans Spurs an Australian women's team on tour in the US. An umpire's clinic will be held on the Friday night, September 12 at 7pm at the Holiday Inn in Torrance. Read more » |

The two squads, named the Freedom and Liberty, are made up of female footy players from all corners of the USA.
