2011 Revolution and Freedom Jumpers

The USAFL is proud to announce ESPN as the official major sponsor of the USA Revolution and USA Freedom National Australian Rules Football teams. Eagles Host Lobsterbake for International Cup Players

Recently the Baltimore-Washington Eagles held a Lobsterbake as a fundraiser for members of the club who are representing the USA in the upcoming AFL International Cup being held in Australia this August. The bake was a sellout with over 130 people attending.

Finding My Wings...

There’s less than a quarter of the season left until the finals (playoffs), and I am finding my wings! Throughout the season, I’ve been Full Forward and Ruck and been having some pretty good games fulfilling both those roles. Some games were more towards the forward half and others were in the midfield, battling it out with the other big man of the other team.

Brett Kirk Reflects on World Tour

After six months of travelling the world and spreading the word about footy and the upcoming International Cup as the AFL's International Ambassador, Brett Kirk has returned home to Sydney.  As part of his journey he visited several USAFL clubs and conducted various coaching, umpiring and training sessions including New York, Boston, Denver, Arizona and Los Angeles.  He is now taking time to share his experiences as he continues to promote the International Cup.  In an interview with the AFL when asked where, of the places he spent time, he thought Australian Football had real potential, Kirk made the following comments.
