Introducing Mathew Pell   

Mathew Pell is a former player for the Northern Bullants, Nathalia FC, Wangaratta FC, Prahan Assumption FC, and currently the Chicago Swans. Mathew has an extensive background and in Sports Science. Mathew is currently an Applied Sports Scientist/Consultant for Catapult Sports. Prior to that he spent 10 years working in the AFL system including the TAC Cup development pathway, AFL Umpiring Department, Carlton FC and North Melbourne. Mathew also had the opportunity to work with Alex Aurrichio when he was at the Northern Blues. Mathew will be covering a range of topics in this one hour session that are sure to challenge and inspire you to take your fitness and approach to the game to another level. Kicking Technique with Tim Schmidt (Kicking Dynamics)

Introducing Tim Schmidt (Founder/Head Coach of Kicking Dynamics - Ultimate Kicking & Skills Academy, GWS Giants AFLW Coach 2017, Sydney Swans AFL 2004-2009)  

Tim Schmidt is a former player for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League.  Originally from country South Australia, Tim played representative football at junior level before playing with South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club West Adelaide,  Tim was drafted by Sydney with pick number 29 at the 2003 AFL Draft and made his debut on 29 July 2006 against Port Adelaide. Tim suffered a succession of injuries while at Sydney and announced his retirement at the end of the 2009 AFL season with an AFL record of 17 games and 12 goals, winning the Rising Star Award for best first year player in 2007.  

In July 2016, Schmidt was appointed head coach of the Greater Western Sydney Giants women's team. He stepped down from the role in July 2017 before founding a kicking and skills academy called Kicking Dynamics coaching future Australian Football stars. Kicking Dynamics provides a specialised kicking school for kids and adults wanting to take their AFL kicking to the next level, offering the highest standard of coaching and teaching. So whether a beginner, want to change to the greatest sporting code there is, or just seeking improvement on your style Kicking Dynamics can make it happen.

USAFL Women's Coaching Webinar with Paul Hood, Geelong AFLW Head Coach

Introducing Paul Hood, currently Geelong AFLW Head Coach, formerly Geelong AFL Player Development Manager, Geelong VFL Head Coach and Geelong TAC U/18 Head Coach. Also a former Geelong VFL player and TAC U/18 Morrish Medal winner (League best player award) amongst several other football and coaching achievements.  

Through his extensive playing and coaching career (along with his prior profession as a Secondary School teacher) Paul has become one of the AFLW's most rounded and well-equipped coaches and has a wealth of knowledge, some of which he has kindly offered to share with USAFL women's coaches through this Webinar.

An Hour With Ray Chamberlain

Friend of the USAFL and 319 AFL game veteran, AFL Umpire, Ray Chamberlain will take us through some video footage and talk through some basic decisions in football and explain the reasoning why the decisions have been awarded. There will be an opportunity to ask Ray questions in relation to umpiring and football. The webinar is open to all USAFL players, coaches and umpires and will be a great opportunity for both those experienced and new to the game to learn from one of the AFL's best!

Chamberlain Foundation

The Chamberlain Foundation was established in 2015 by Ray, Peter and Brian Chamberlain to support organisations providing services to people suffering with mental illness and at risk of suicide – with a particular focus on First Responders and Service Men & Women.

The Chamberlain brothers are Ray, Peter and Brian. Three brothers, largely self made, who have overcome adversity to achieve the personal and professional success they enjoy today. At critical times in their lives, people and circumstances have supported and nurtured their drive, ambition and willingness to put their shoulder to the wheel. The Chamberlain Foundation is their vehicle to give back to society and improve the lives of those that are experiencing trauma, loss, disadvantage or mental health issues.
